About

What began for me as a pure but simple passion for cooking has over time blossomed into a deep appreciation for the aesthetics of food and its presentation. I started photographing food purely as a practical way to communicate visually the recipes and dish postings on myfood blog, and before long, a broader artistic pull completely drew me into food photography. I love all elements of creating a beautiful and tempting food image: food preparation, styling, propping, composition, color and lighting. Natural light photography informs my personal passion, capturing food that is as "un-doctored" as possible. I work with clients on any and all aspects of image creation, including shopping for and creating the dish to match your vision. I have a fully-supplied studio and kitchen with a variety of props. I work diligently to meet my clients' needs and achieve their editorial and commercial objectives. Consider me for your cookbook, catalog, in-store, editorial, packaging or advertising needs.
